I got placed in Infosys... wanted to share my experience with you...
We had our Infosys interview on 27th Feb in MNM engineering college. It was a joint placement organised by Thangavelu Engineering College (our college) and MNM College. The interview started at 8.30 in the morning. First we had the PowerPoint session. It was very Interesting. the session was regarding the Infosys company and their requirement. the HR asked if the audience no anything about Infosys. I read an article written by Mrs. Sudhanarayanamurthy on the starting of Infosys. I stood up and told some info about Infosys. everyone was impressed and I felt more confident then.
Then we had the aptitude test, the aptitude test had two sections. the logical reasoning and verbal ability, logical reasoning was easy. Verbal ability was little difficult but as I am preparing for the CAT exams it was easier. We had to complete a resume meanwhile.
After the aps we had to wait for two hours for the result. At 3 o clock we got the results and i was short listed.then we went for the hr round
The HR round started soon. but I was among the last to attend the interview. I had a madam, she was really sweet. when I went inside I left all my fear behind and was confident. She asked only general questions about my family my strength and all. I was given a small situation. I am given lot of money what will i do with that. I answered I would start a company that to in a village. I spoke about the opportunities in village. Then I was asked about my Interest. I said I am a good leader. she asked about my leadership qualities. I answered her. she saw my profile both my parents were educated she asked how it helped me. Then she asked why did you choose Infy as my company. I told her I was impressed how one mans dream has become a legend. The way the company was started with a minimum capital and the heights it has reached.
She was impressed then she asked any questions. I asked should I get trained in anything. She said I would get trained in my training sessions.
then we waited for 3 hours...finally at 8 pm we had the results...the first name in our college list was my name...I finally got placed in Infosys....with a lot friends placed too.
